Joost Wever started working as an independent designer during his study at the Design Academy and has been doing so ever since. He also teaches Design & Product Development at the Utrecht School of Arts.

Joost Wever designs, develops, produces and distributes a fine line of products handmade as well as factorymade.

His work can be discribed as sober and clever with clear lines with a subtle interplay of function and elegant simplicity. He tries to make his designs as less as possible materials so they are easy to recycle.
